I'm a bit delayed in my review of this hotel, but to put it short and sweet...it's wonderful! The location is kinda funky though (across the street is a lovely mobile home park LOL). It's very close to the water, but don't expect a view of anything special. What the hotel lacks in good views, they make up in great service, conveniences and cleanliness. Like I mentioned, they are close to the beaches, but also close to the marina, shops, and lots of cool little restaurants. We've been here 2 or 3 times already, and will be back again. Very professional all around.

I would definitely request a room on the opposite side of the building that we were in (room 212). There was some type of machinery that constantly cycled on and off all night. It was not the air conditioner and did not sound like another room's conditioner. It had a very low frequency rumble that kept me awake the entire night.

We loved our stay at this hotel! We were traveling with small kids and when we came back to the hotel in the evening they decorated one of the beds with a pillow fort! It was such a thoughtful, nice touch, and the kids loved it! They put candy popcorn, art supplies, a game and a stuffed turtle and seal, in the pillow fort. The pool area was great, it even had a nice covered sitting area with comfortable couches. The Continental breakfast was really good and all the employees were all super friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location within few minutes drive to Balboa Island/Peninsula. The staff were so kind and professional. The receptionist even gave us a coupon to dine at a restaurant overlooking the water at discount. Room was clean and bed and pillows were so comfy. Great value for the money.

Overall, great experience. The service staff is what really sold me. Any issue I had, they were quick to support and try to remedy. From the wifi, to check in, to the personal comfort of my stay, the team seemed to truly care about meeting my expectations.

Everyone was just wonderful, but Katie was exceptional. She was able to check us in early so I can at least do part of my work comfortably at the hotel -- otherwise, I would have had to conduct meetings from my car! Sincerely appreciate the …

We came to Newport for a vacation on the beach. This was a great location near the beach and plenty of restaurants. The staff was great friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. The rooms were decent very clean but smaller than we are used to. They were a little musty from the humidity assuming being so close to the beach. But for most part it was a nice stay.
